Although situated in the centre of Tetbury, number eighteen Gumstool Hill is off the main street in a quiet side road within a moments walk of all the shops, restaurants etc. Tetbury is a well-known Cotswold market town developed as a result of the wool trade, well defined by its impressive market square, large period homes and cottages.

Both the M4 and M5 motorways provide links with other parts of the country whilst rail services from Kemble (circa 10 miles) connect with Paddington in approximately 90 minutes.
